Anderson Silva is getting back into the Octagon this February in London
Yes, the promotion has confirmed that Silva and Bisping will battle in the headliner of UFC Fight Night 83, which will go down on February 27th in London.

The match-up itself is not all that surprising, but the fact that the UFC is putting such a high profile main event on a UFC Fight Pass event is.
Brazil’s Silva (34-6), who reigned as middleweight champion from 2006 until a knockout loss to Chris Weidman in 2013, argued before the Nevada commission that his positive results stemmed from his use of a sexual enhancement substance that he was embarrassed to disclose in a pre-test questionnaire. He beat Nick Diaz by unanimous decision, but it was ruled a no contest after both fighters tested positive for PEDs.
Anderson Silva will make his return in February.
Along with the reverse of his bout’s outcome against Diaz, the commission handed Silva a 12-month suspension, which is retroactive to the date of his five-round meeting with the American stalwart.
The 36-year-old Englishman was originally penciled to face Gegard Mousasi on the same fight card, but he was pulled out to pit him versus Silva. Mousasi is expected to remain on the card, though no opponent has been named.

The headline fight at UFC Fight Night 83 in his home country is a big opportunity for Bisping too and that is before you even consider the opposition is the legendary Silva, whose record stood at 17-0 (with an unprecedented 10 titles defences) before those two defeats to Weidman.
