UPDATE: Andrew Luck also spoke with the media after practice and said that, while his shoulder doesn’t feel like he wants it to feel, he doesn’t consider it to be that big of a deal. Luck has taken a pounding, and the result is five touchdowns and seven interceptions through the first three games of the season. It looks as if all the rough hits that Andrew Luck has taken are finally catching up with the fourth year quarterback. Luck also confirmed that the injury did happen in the Titans game, but wouldn’t specify when.

Coach Chuck Pagano spoke to reporters Wednesday.

“I wouldn’t bet against 12 ever”, Pagano said, per The Indianapolis Star.

Luck later echoed his coach’s sentiment. He expects to play on Sunday.

On Monday, Luck was asked if he was playing injured.

“Football is a physical game, right, we all know that”, he said Monday. A few games are less physical than others, and that’s sort of the nature of it. This past one certainly was physical. “For me, it’s sort of business as usual”.

Luckily for the Colts, the injury doesn’t appear to be too severe. He did say, however, that Luck was “absolutely not” dealing with an injury before the Titans game, obviously meaning that the injury had to have occurred sometime during the past game.

The most important player on the Indianapolis Colts roster might be suffering this season. A week after that the New England Patriots come to town. Luck has been sacked only five times, but continually gets hit.

The only significant move the team made in the offseason to improve the unit was signing guard Todd Herremans.
