Android 7.0 Nougat: What Devices Are Getting It Now and What’s Next?

It will be a while before non-Nexus phone buyers will be able to experience the Android 7.0 Nougat.

Another new addition which Google has made to Android OS in the latest version is ability for users to open two apps alongside each other on the screen. With this, most of the Google devices has now started receiving their biggest software update for the year, the Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Google’s latest Android offering hosts a number of new features like multi-window multitasking feature, improved battery saving options via Doze, etc. Available as a beta release since March, “Android Nougat reflects input from thousands of fans and developers all over the world”, he added. Now last we checked, the Sony Xperia X Performance was part of some Android 7.0 beta program, so where does that leave the rest of Sony’s phones?
