Android 7.1 Arriving On Current Nexus Smartphones But There’s A Catch
In the US, Google and Verizon are advertising the device as a “Verizon Exclusive”, but the Pixel phones are also available unlocked from the Google Store, Best Buy, Verizon, Target, and Walmart. The answer is yes. That also means you won’t have to deal with any Verizon-branded applications that the carrier preloads onto its Pixel devices.

Android Police reported as per the leaked change-log, Google confirmed that the Android 7.1 Nougat for other smartphones is different from the well featured Pixel Android 7.1 OS. Google also launched a new smarthome voice control unit called Home.
One of the very key aspects of a Nexus device, one which made the line attractive to tech enthusiasts, was the clean, “purely Google” experience that came with it.
Only two days have passed since Google officially announced the new Pixel smartphone, but it isn’t holding back at all in advertising these new devices. Industrious Android users can find a way to get Pixel Launcher, though, as it’s been available to sideload since September. The Pixel that Google sells directly is fully compatible with Verizon’s network, so you can just purchase that way to avoid potential headaches entirely.
The Daydream View is created to be a lightweight and mass market headset for the Pixel Phone, or other Daydream compatible devices.
One of the most exciting features of Pixel is the usage of Google Assistant. They run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPUs paired up with 4GB RAM.
Google Pixel devices will officially roll out on October 20.
CameraThe Samsung Galaxy S7 has the best camera of any smartphone on the market, including the iPhone 7. All four devices also feature a quad-core processor, but the Google devices will feature Adreno 530 GPUs while the Apple smartphones come with a six-core graphics card.

Both the 5-inch and 5.5-inch versions of Google’s first Pixel phones are Daydream ready and come with Daydream pre-installed. Depending on the area you’re ordering from and it’s sales tax, you could get the Pixels XL 128GB for approx SGD $1301. The Daydream View headset is part of the Daydream virtual reality echo system that Google is pushing forward.
