Android 7 Nougat Development Course for $29
Android 7.0 Nougat brings a wide range of new features to Android One devices, the updates have been released just shortly after Google released them for Nexus devices. Reports suggest the update is now live for at least one Android One phone, the Cherry Mobile One G1. Presently, the companies including Micromax, Karbonn, Intex and Lava offer Android One devices on India.

If you own an Android One phone, you should be getting a notification to download the new update shortly. Last month, smartphone maker Sony also confirmed that it will be rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for selected Xperia devices. However, a huge chunk of phones are reportedly not eligible to get the security patches and even flagship models like the Nexus 5X do not get instantly updated.
The risky new flaws include an apparent variant of the Stagefright bug, which was uncovered previous year and affected almost a billion Android devices across the world. The update, an incremental (but major) one on the face of it, started rolling out to Google’s Nexus-branded phones nearly immediately, is now reportedly also available for Android One phones.

Android One smartphones are those made for emerging markets, and since there are so many of them out in the market that it would be quite hard to know when the smartphones would be updated. It can happen that there might be issues while updating, and data have been known to get lost at times.
