Android Instant Apps Opens Content from Applications Without Downloading Them
The new platform will serve as a proofing ground for VR content Google says, and contains a list of specifications Google believes virtual reality product should meet. In fact, it could be used in a number of situations and users could make sure that they don’t clog their phones with too many installed applications. Only this one lets you whisper and shout, shrinking or boosting your font so you don’t need to mess about with bold, italics or endless punctuation to get your message across. Google has already partnered with OEM’s including HTC, Samsung, LG, Xiaomi, Huawei, ZTE and Asus.

Allo also supports conversations with the Google Assistant, which was also announced Wednesday. Allo is available this summer for iOS and Android.
With Android Instant Apps, users will be able to run any app with one tap, no installation needed. And as expected, there is an Install button on the top right corner of the Instant App preview, so you can install it if you really wanted the app after previewing it.
This technology could make life easier since you won’t have to download a bunch of apps just to view a video or article your friend sent to you.
Duo video calling is also encrypted end-to-end for privacy and security, and has a “knock-knock” feature allowing users to see live streams of callers before answering. The company wants Home – which looks kind of like a white plastic salt shaker – to have a place at your dinner table and be the all-knowing, helpful extended family you never had.
Google knows many people never get around to adding apps, because they have to download them.
The platform is called Daydream and seems to include some of the features of the Samsung Gear VR platform, including a virtual environment that allows users to switch apps without having to take their phones out of their headsets.
That’s probably a good thing considering how fragmented Android’s userbase is as only 7.5% of Android users have the latest version, Marshmallow, on their devices.

Google has announced a new version of its Android Wear software, called Android Wear 2.0, and with it announced two fitness-related updates: automatic activity tracking and a Google Fit data exchange API. Google has already created editions of YouTube, Play Movies and Google Photos.
