Released with Lollipop 5.1, the Sprint version of the Desire 626s is now getting an OTA update that pushes it up to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Android Lollipop is the most widely-used version of Android, with the OS running on 35.4% of all devices. Perhaps more shockingly is Android 4.1/4.2/4.3 Jelly Bean which still has 18.9 percent share despite originally launching in 2012.

Google gathers figures from active devices visiting the Google Play app, which only supports Android 2.2 and above.
Initially, Android N will have to struggle to retain the market but if Google names it to a famous Indian dessert then we hope it will gather momentum in no time.
As for the fragmentation, Google needs to quickly resolve the issue, where it is unable to roll out Android updates on user devices. Five months in, the mobile OS had found its way to just 2.3 percent of Android devices in the wild.
