Android One devices reportedly started receiving Marshmallow update
Not everyone will be happy, of course, but the list of smartphones set to receive Marshmallow isn’t bad – and chances are more will be added over the next few weeks. For those who must have the new OS, Google’s most recent Nexus phones will be shipping with it.

For example, you’re messaging someone on WhatsApp and they answered you in their native language for one reason or another, you don’t need to open Google Translate, copy paste what your friend said, and then go back to the app to reply.
Other than that, Samsung is also rushing to offer new updates for its flagship smartphones during that period i.e.by the end of this year.
Google began rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software update on Monday to a number of its Nexus family of phones. Since there is no need to manually sync the Nexus device with a computer for getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, upgrading to it shouldn’t cause any difficulties.
For instance, unlocked handsets get the operating system update faster than devices obtained from a carrier. Breaking Lollipop down, Android 5.0 was on 15.6 percent of devices while Android 5.1 was on 7.9 percent. This means, the Marshmallow update is being rolled out to the Android One devices too along with the Nexus devices. If there are any huge bugs among initial releases, Nexus users are unfortunately always the first ones to experience issues and this is something we’ve been noticing for years. Turovsky says the updated app will now let users make translations in 90 languages right inside non-Google apps using Marshmallow’s contextual text selection feature.

Reports of the company reveal that more than 500 million people translate over 100 billion words a day on Google Translate. Additionally, HTC’s forthcoming phone, slated to be released October. 20, will have Android 6.0 preinstalled. But with their future being quite uncertain, should we hope and pray for Android 6.0 Marshmallow to reach GPE devices?
