Android Pay rewards program ‘Tap 10’ allegedly spotted
It’s among a number of in-store mobile payment services that dot the smartphone landscape, such as Apple Pay and Android Pay. Yes, a free Chromecast dongle.

The program, which it calls the “Tap 10”, rewards smartphone owners that use Google’s Android Pay to purchase goods through February 27. Getting a free Chromecast for using Android Pay 10 times is awesome, because Chromecasts normally cost $35 and you can use it all the time in your day-to-day life.
On a side note, we aren’t yet seeing this promo in our Android Pay app. I’d imagine this is a part of the update that is rolling out this week, so if you get it, feel free to open Android Pay and see.
This new Android Pay promo looks pretty nice.
Google is known to be generous with their constant promotions and offers. After giving away $20 Best Buy gift cards for using Android Pay last month, the Mountain View company could be readying a new rewards program.
What do you guys think of Google’s Tap 10 promo? According to Popular Mechanics, the first, second and sixth purchases made via Android Pay during the promotion period will provide you with free music from Google Play, while the 10th qualifies you for a free Chromecast.
According to the official rules, the promotion is only available to residents of the United States, and you have to be at least 18 years old. Users report that the app will work if a systemless root was used, but it won’t otherwise.

It’s believed that the first, second, and sixth taps each earn you a free song from Google Play Music, while the 10th tap gets you a Chromecast.
