During Week 8 of “Dancing With the Stars” fans of the hit ABC series were forced to say farewell to Andy Grammer and his partner Allison Holker after the two were eliminated from the Season 21 competition.

Wildlife conservationist Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough followed in the running order with a routine inspired by the legendary Grace Kelly, who Bindi praised for always holding tight to her beliefs.

Seven celebrity contestants have already been cut from the roster: Singer Andy Grammer, online star Hayes Grier, chef Paula Deen, Gary Busey, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Kim Zolciak Biermann, Triple Crown-winning jockey Victor Espinoza and singer Chaka Khan.

Irwin, Braxton, Skarlatos and Alexa were safe in week 8, while Carlos and Carson and Grammer and Holker were in jeopardy.

For the first time this season, the couple with the highest score from their solo dance will be granted immunity from elimination next week and will also receive 3 additional points.

The latest episode featured two rounds of dancing from the couples: an individual routine and a dance-off between two pairs, according to Wall Street Journal. Their efforts got them 25 points from the judges.

Judge Bruno Tonioli said that their performance was a love poem perfectly visualised through dance and that the storytelling woven into the choreography was ideal. TAMAR BRAXTON – 28 out of 30 Val was mad at the way Tamar was portrayed last week. The dance with pro Lindsay Arnold capitalized on Skarlatos’ strength with plenty of impressive lifts.

What about Carlos, Alexa, Tamar, and Andy? Alexa and Mark won, and Andy and Allison won. The two were at ease and confident on the dance floor, earning them a total of 27 points from the judges. Alek and Lindsay lost their Dance-Off to Andy and Allison.
