Andy Murray beats Milos Raonic to reach Cincinnati Masters final
Unseeded Dimitrov will tackle Johnson in the quarters while Croatian teenager Coric tests his skills against countryman Marin Cilic, a 6-3 4-6 6-4 victor over Czech Tomas Berdych in the late-night match at the Lindner Family Tennis Center. He hit triple the winners of Murray and dropped just six first-serve points to claim his first Masters 1000 and 15th career title.

“I served extremely well today and that helped me a lot. But I’ve still managed to win”, Murray said.
When questioned as to why he has been playing back-to-back matches despite the issues with his wrist, Nadal said that the condition would be no better if he takes time off the court.
“It’s better for me to be finished now, but I’m not going to be fresher than Marin or Grigor”, said Murray, victor of 50 matches this season. Andy was starting to play a bit better, but it’s definitely a huge win against him.
“I’m very proud of this week”.
“And because I’ve won a lot the last few months, that’s something that has been good, especially this week for sure”.
“I’m in another final now”. “But it’s different come match time, so I did a little bit of studying”.
Speaking of his meeting with Raonic, Murray said on the ATP’s official webite: “Yeah, tough match obviously”.
The defeat ended Kerber’s chances of replacing Serena Williams as the No 1 ranked player in the world.
Unlike the other two seeded men on Center Court today, No. 1 seed Andy Murray advanced to the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over South African Kevin Anderson. Williams has been in the top spot for 183 consecutive weeks.
Cilic added; ‘I felt that this week I played really great tennis.
Cilic served out the match in his first try, converting his second championship point and unleashing a celebration that was every bit as emphatic as his performance.
Halep was on a hot streak, winning back-to-back titles at Bucharest and Montreal.
Commanding win: Andy Murray and Milos Raonic shake hands after the match.
Cilic broke first in the fifth game of the first set with an overhead smash followed by a forehand victor for a 3-2 lead.

Straight from winning gold medal at Rio 2016, Murray looked in considerable pain from the opening game, after stretching to his backhand for a flat Tomic ball, moving stiffly between and even during points.
