Andy Murray eases past eccentric Nick Kyrgios to reach last eight
Kyrgios failed to replicate his Wimbledon quarterfinal appearance in 2015, so he dropped his ranking points and was unseeded at the US Open, where he played Murray in the first round, losing in four sets. But, you know, I don’t really know what else to do without it. Highlights include all of Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 matches as well as tennis tournaments and some of the FA Cup and Capital One Cup games to name just few. And a win by the 2013 champ would seal his ninth straight trip to the quarter-finals at the All-England club.

‘He’s got to look in the mirror if he wants to become a top player and win slams.
I play Tsonga next who is a top grass court player and I’m going to have to be at my best.
“I think it was to play quarter-finals against (Tomas) Berdych or (Jiri) Vesely”.
A fourth break of serve came in the very next game and Murray was in total control, serving out to complete a highly entertaining, but far from sapping win, with an ace on his second match point to complete a 7-5, 6-1, 6-4 victory.
The world number two said: “I think he’s got a bit of time on his side”.
Murray served out for the match after just an hour and 43 minutes. I want to be better in the future.
The Scot will battle the youngster in the final match on Centre Court, after Roger Federer and Serena Williams both grace tennis’s greatest stage.
During Kyrgios’ unusually frank back-and-forth with reporters, he said he’s considered the idea that perhaps he’s ambivalent about wholeheartedly committing himself to success at tennis.
“I see him at times more than I see my family, so it’s good to have a friend like him”.
“He backs me up a lot, which is good”.
The controversial Australian has always been tipped to be the sport’s next star, but was brushed aside by a dominant Andy Murray in the last-16 of Wimbledon. I believed that I could win the match.
“The great ones, and I’m talking about the all-time greats, they have a passion, love and respect for the game that enables them to become the greatest”.
Playing some outrageous shots and staying mentally strong mean the Australian is unlikely to fold under the pressure, even when things aren’t going Kyrgios’ way.
“Everyone’s different. It’s about finding the right people to help you with different things”.
The winners of the Kyrgios versus Murray tussle with play either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or Richard Gasquet in the last eight. But this is probably my best surface, my best chance to beat him.
After a tight first set, Murray stepped on the accelerator to win the second 6-1. “I don’t know.” Kyrgios was asked if he felt he was at a crossroads in a career which two years ago seemed destined for the heights after he knocked Rafael Nadal out of Wimbledon.
Kyrgios said: “I think as soon as Novak loses, you look at Andy and you look at Federer’s eyes light up”.

Murray said he was “fully aware of how hard my next opponent is as well”.
