Andy Reid will try to stay ideal against the Texans on Sunday
When you get absolutely embarrassed at home in a playoff game, the rematch isn’t going to be a normal Week 2 game. The Texans and Chiefs both made the playoffs previous year, with Kansas City trouncing them by a 30-0 margin.

It ended Brian Hoyer’s Texans career and caused Houston to overpay for Brock Osweiler to replace him. He missed last week’s game as well, so the Texans are already used to him being out. RB Lamar Miller ran for 106 yards in first game with Texans.
And this is a better Texans team.
With so many new faces on offense for the Texans (1-0), from quarterback Brock Osweiler to running back Lamar Miller to rookie receivers Will Fuller and Braxton Miller serving as complements to standout DeAndre Hopkins, it might be wise to disregard what unfolded January 9 when the Chiefs limited the Texans to 226 yards while forcing five turnovers – all charged to then-Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer. It’s a very intriguing team.
Kansas City is hoping to play more consistently throughout all four quarters in Week 2 as the Chiefs needed a miraculous, 18-point comeback to defeat the San Diego Chargers in overtime last Sunday. “It’s definitely a little bit on your mind, but I think it’s a new year, new season”. I would expect them to ramp things up against a beaten up offensive line of the Texans. Kansas City is 3-2 against the Texans in Houston. Should have feared Bill Belichick more. There’s a lot of great football players on that defense.
The Texans need to get pressure on quarterback Alex Smith to disrupt the timing of the Chiefs’ West Coast offense. Washington isn’t bad because it lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“He’s a very good player”. I will show enemies of the team no mercy and give them no quarter. “They’ve got kind of an idea of the strength of his arm, what he can do”. The Texans had a similar story against the Bears.
Browns (+6) over Ravens: I like the Ravens this season, just think this line is inflated since all we heard all week is how awful the Browns are. But when you watch the Kansas City Chiefs on tape you see a team that’s physical.
Giants (-4.5) over Saints: Breaking news: New Orleans’ defense isn’t good. That’s something I’ll take a close look at. This week, however, Watt is on mission to get swift, inexorable justice against those cheap shot artists who tried and failed to bring down our nation’s greatest living football player.
The Chiefs have started the season off 1-0. And Watt is only going to get better. They’ve now won eight of their last 10 regular-season contests. But the lines in Las Vegas, now that it’s clear Wilson will play, are about 6.5 points.
This line seems way too low.
The Chiefs are 1-4 ATS in their last five games in Week 2. And it’s worth noting the Colts beat the Broncos last season, so they won’t be intimidated. Those are all the reasons people could have for picking the Texans.

“I felt like a broken down auto trying to keep rolling”, Watt said. I have no idea what happens here.
