Andy Samberg has been receiving good reviews for his hosting stint at the Emmy Awards.
Sunday’s opening number showed Samberg desperately trying to catch up on all the incredible television shows that were nominated and on the air in the previous year .
Samberg gave out a username that references a character on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and the less-than-original password, password1.
“It is a real bummer that there are more losers than winners”, Samberg said of the awards show.
Definitely a less groomed man. He bumps into people Like Jon Hamm and Kerry Washington to tell them (in song) how much he likes their shows.
And a whole lot of shows with “Wives” in the title.
Later in the Emmy broadcast, Samberg re-created a scene from the final episode of “Mad Men” that featured a famous Coco-Cola commercial.

The video then jump-cuts to a parody within a parody of Samberg and others singing on a hilltop a la the 1971 Coca-Cola commercial “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”.
