Angie breaks silence over David Bowie’s death in CBB diary room

Following the very sad news of David Bowie’s death, we can now confirm that Angie Bowie has been informed off camera by her representatives.

David Bowie’s last worldwide tour was in 2003 and 2004. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, David Bowie”. In his Berklee commencement address, Bowie talked about his relationship with Lennon.

The Light House Cinema is hosting David Bowie Tribute screenings of Labyrinth in memory of the star.

His musical Lazarus opened in NY in December.

After it was revealed David had died she uploaded a image simply telling fans: “The struggle is real, but so is God”.

Instead, Bowie succumbed to cancer just two days after the album arrived, and has now reportedly been cremated in a private ceremony without any friends and family.

His death soon followed his 69th birthday and the release of his latest album Blackstar, which is on its way to becoming Bowie’s first No. 1 album in America.

Tony Visconti, who produced the album with Bowie, released a statement this week confirming Blackstar had been Bowie’s “parting gift”, and a direct acknowledgement of what was coming. As it turned out, it was a period of rejuvenation.

Since news of his passing, Bowie’s back catalogue has experienced a phenomenal surge in United Kingdom downloads, with 14 of his albums occupying the iTunes top 20.

A USA source further said that, “In many respects you don’t need a memorial or service to remember David by…you have his music instead”.

Bowie’s almost 50-year No. 1 album drought might be coming to an end as his final album, “Blackstar”, is projected to top the Billboard 200 next week.

The third track, Lazarus, starts with the lyrics: “Look up here, I’m in heaven, I’ve got scars that can’t be seen, I’ve got drama, can’t be stolen, everybody knows me now”.

“He was on our show several times over the years and the man was always outstanding”, he said on “Conan”.
