Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival launches November 20
So what do you think of the Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival trailer and the announcement of even more amiibo?

Nintendo of Japan has this morning unveiled four new Animal Crossing themed amiibo, though it comes as no surprise considering the looming release of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, these amiibo are Resetti, Celeste, Blathers, and Kicks and they’re just too damn cute! Fortunately, Happy Home Designer makes the playable character one of the best employees.

The official Japanese Nintendo YouTube account uploaded an overview video showing off what players can do in the Mario Party-style game. Moving them around is also easier: rather than having to pick up and manually place everything with the circle pad and buttons, you just drag, drop, and rotate stuff with the stylus on the bottom screen. The amiibo cards are compatible with amiibo Festival as a supplement to mini-games, but don’t work as characters. Despite its simplicity, however, there’s something I found really fun about designing all of these weird little animal abodes. This is, of course, not counting the 100 card amiibos that were released alongside Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer last week. Instead of simply adding new furniture or redesigning a room, Nook likes to completely shake things up.
