Ann Coulter: A Hillary Clinton Presidency Would Prevent All Future Republican Wins

Half of those who back Trump believe immigrants are more likely to commit crimes than those born here, the Pew data show, while a third say immigrants don’t work as hard as Americans and 35% say illegals “mostly fill jobs US citizens would like”.

“You also seem to be indicating there might be something other than ‘they have to go back, ‘” Hannity told Trump, referencing reports that Trump may be softening his plan, which initially included a deportation force for 11 million undocumented immigrants.

A Trump campaign source said the campaign chose to push back Trump’s immigration speech as it is still fine-tuning its immigration policy and the speech’s language.

But Trump has since said in a CNN interview that he still opposes a path to legalization for those living in the country unlawfully – the position that King wants him to maintain. We have a lot of people that want to come in through the legal process, and it’s not fair for them.

Trump and his backers are increasingly relying on rhetoric that academics and even some Republican strategists say has an undeniable edge focused on gender. “We’re going to see what happens”. “And he’s been taking the counsel of many different people who tell him what is possible”, Conway said.

Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, signalled over the weekend that the candidate has been rethinking his approach.

“Without the immigration issue, the words “President Trump” would still be a “Simpsons” joke, ‘ ” Krikorian said. “There’s no amnesty. But we work with them”, Trump said Wednesday.

Pressed on whether Mr Trump’s plans would include a “deportation force” the candidate previously pledged to set up, she replied: “To be determined”.

“I hope that they are saying what he says, Anderson, which is that you don’t just look at people and try to harm them or treat them inhumanely”. Hillary Clinton may be the most ethically compromised candidate ever to run for the presidency with her email scandal – not to mention the Clinton Foundation being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for possible influence-peddling while Hillary was secretary of state.

The oddity, of course, is that Trump has been running for president for 14 months, during which time he’s talked about his immigration plans countless times.

Later, he told Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly, “I just want to follow the law”.

Pew’s poll come as Trump shifted his tone on immigration this week, stating he may be open to “softening” laws to benefit the undocumented immigrants.

“It’s so great to be back in the great state of Texas”, Trump said to the crowd.

“What people don’t know is Obama got tremendous numbers of people out of the country”.

Later in the interview, Trump again explained how this group of people would be treated. Let me go a step further, they’ll pay back taxes, they have to pay taxes, there’s no amnesty as such.

“I can feel the churn of uneasiness”, King said.

“Is there any part of the law that you might be able to change that would accommodate those people that contribute to society, have been law-abiding, have kids here?”

Donald Trump now says he wants “a really fair but firm” solution for 11 million people living in the United States illegally
