Ann Coulter Stuns Raven Symone Into Silence With ‘Watermelondrea’ Reminder

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter visited “The View” to discuss her support of presidential candidate Donald Trump and her disdain for illegal immigration and wound up in a brief verbal fracas with host Raven-Symoné.

When Ann Coulter, 53, dropped by The View on October 16 to promote her new book Adios America, it literally took less than one minute for the controversial commentator (who may or may not be made of snakes) to start sparring with the talk show’s panel of women. And why do you think your success is based off of that?

The interview was hostile from the get-go, with Nicaraguan native Ana Navarro asking her to explain what the subtitle of her book – which bemoans the fact that immigrants are allegedly transforming America into “a Third World Hellhole” – actually means. “You’ll insult people for their names”, Coulter said. She added, “That was when I assumed perhaps this is it, perhaps this is over”. “I’m living in America, which was created by settlers, not by immigrants”.

Navarro, who was born in Nicaragua before her family immigrated to the States, first corrected Coulter on the proper pronunciation of the word adios.

Ann Coulter is at it again.

ABC Co-host Raven-Symoné stewed quietly for much of the gabfest – and when she finally piped up to accuse Coulter of mudslinging, the blond-haired commentator swiftly slung back.

“I’m at least talking about policy. When a majority of immigrants are on welfare, why would any country bring in … we don’t need to be importing other countries’ poor people”, says Coulter.

She also suggested that Trump is a desirable candidate because he has nothing to gain by holding political office. For good measure, Coulter also told the audience at Houston Baptist University that she could see Donald Trump winning the presidency and is feeling optimistic about the upcoming campaign season. So you don’t follow it? While Symone has since apologized for her remark, Coulter’s retort stunned her into silence as the discussion continued.
