In May 2015, following the leak of a police report alleging he had fondled five young girls, including two of his sisters, when he was in his mid-teens, Duggar, who is married with four children, said without giving specifics that he had “acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry”.

We are glad to see that Josh was dedicated enough to finish his extensive program, but we have a feeling he will have a long way to go to gain the trust of his family after he publicly shamed them in the media. “We are forever grateful for the love and prayers offered by so many and hope you will continue to pray in the days ahead”.

In a statement shared on their personal website on Thursday morning, the Duggar family confirmed the news.

Younger sister Joy added: “I have forgiven him and I feel that, but the trust is not there”. Jill and Jessa Duggar later recalled their brother’s abuse during a bombshell interview, revealing that they had since forgiven him for the attacks.

Duggar’s name turned up in a data breach of the adultery website Ashley Madison, and he issued a statement confessing to a pornography addiction.

His wife Anna Duggar and other families visited the eldest Duggar child during his stay.

Josh Duggar has left a Christian rehabilitation facility where he has been undergoing treatment for what he describes as an addiction to Internet pornography.

“I don’t know what I’m stepping into”, she says in the preview.
