A drone operator had his drone snagged by a fisherman off a San Diego pier.

The whole thing was captured on video, actually from the drone’s perspective as it was flown over Pacific Beach pier last Thursday.
Ledbetter said in a Facebook post he was baffled as to how the fishing line became tangled in his propeller until he reviewed the video footage. Towards the end of its flight, it buzzed by the pier, irritating a fisherman. He turns around and decides to cast his reel and hook the drone.
He was unable to bring it down, however.
A drone owner by the name of Tice Ledbetter was filming something or other with his drone at the beach, when he decided to film some fishermen on the pier, just minding their own.
Ledbetter was perturbed about his mini-aircraft being treated like a lingcod.
“What a jerk! Gotta admit though, that cast was spot on!”
