Fletcher said the department put out about 12,000 eggs this year. Children ages 6-12 will be able to hunt for eggs at 9:30 a.m. Parents must provide baskets for their children to participate.

– The 16th annual Easter Bunny boat parade returns to Lake Josephine 4 p.m. March 27. Children will be divided into age groups. Historically, the Easter Egg hunt has been a frenzy, with the field starting out covered in eggs and rapidly wiped clean in a matter of minutes.
The big draw? Prize eggs – toys, stuffed animals and baskets filled with goodies. Those late to the fun can register until 10:30 a.m. that morning.
The egg hunt was originally scheduled for Saturday but was moved to Sunday due to inclement weather for the second year in a row.
