You can donate new unwrapped toys through December 6. All toys donated at this week’s games will remain in Albany County.

“As Marines, it’s really important for us to set the example and be the role models in our communities, and that’s kind of what we do here”, Collins said.

UW student-athletes will begin collecting toys and donations at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Again this year the La Crosse Jaycees Toys for Tots program will accept new toy donations only. In addition, this year PODS has joined together with another long-time national Toys for Tots partner, Toys R ” Us®, for increased toy drives in select markets. They want the county to play a greater role in donating and distributing toys to less-fortunate children. “We weren’t expecting so many people to be bringing in toys”.

Local Marines are spreading holiday cheer.

“Pretty much, I’m thinking of all the kids that need a toy”, said Rodriguez.

It is your chance to make this Christmas a special one for a few children in the Milwaukee area.

All the toys collected will go to children in Indiana. “Then, maybe when they are in the position too, they’ll remember that Christmas and try to help other kids in the same way”.
