Anonymous Declares Cyberwar On Ku Klux Klan, Promises To Reveal Identity Of

During last year’s protests, a local chapter of the Klan weighed into the debate by warning that it would use “lethal force” against anyone protesting on the streets of Ferguson.

The names will be revealed on or around next month’s anniversary of a cyber war with Anonymous vs. the KKK. Anonymous will never strip you of any of your Constitutional rights. “Ku Klux Klan you should have expected us”, Anonymous said in the video. They replaced the KKK’s logo with their own to show their possession.

The hacker collective known as Anonymous is threatening to reveal up to 1,000 members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) by name.

Anonymous, which popped up on the scene about 12 years ago, has no visible leadership or structure for membership for their grassroots-style organization.

“Our Kommunity is not at all scared of the threats from anonymous”, read a message posted by one of the KKK’s main Twitter accounts on November 16. They do however target a few of the most controversial people and organizations with their hacking, which will sometimes lead to releasing information kept under wraps. In times past, Anonymous targeted Westboro Baptist Church and child pornography rings, along with many others.

In response, the Anonymous declared war on the Ku Klux Klan. In its eyes, revealing the folks behind the hoods is “the right course of action”.

“You are abhorrent, criminal, you are more than extremists, you are more than a hate group”, it said.

“You made a clear and ever present enemy of Anonymous when you threatened the lives of protesters and the men and women representing Anonymous on the ground in Ferguson, Missouri in November of 2014”, the release said.

Founded after the civil war, the Ku Klux Klan is considered America’s oldest hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). “You are terrorists that hide your identities beneath sheets and infiltrate society on every level”. At one point in the 1920s this group had as many as 4 million members nationwide, but today it is down to somewhere between 5,000 and 8,000 members. “The anons participating in Operation KKK believe that it is a civic responsibility to be conscious and self-critical of our society in order to improve upon the shape of things to come”. The group explained it is unfortunate that anyone would disagree with their actions when they are only trying to change the world for the better.
