Anonymous says it took down Trump Tower website

Trump has the GOP in turmoil over his call for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the US following last week’s mass shooting by an Islamic militant couple that killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California.

The group, who previously declared war on ISIS after the Paris attacks, said Trump’s risky rhetoric is exactly what the terrorists want.

In a video released Wednesday, a spokesperson from the hacktivist group Anonymous slammed Donald Trump on his recent radical proposal of completely banning Muslims from entering the American borders.

The group launched massive DDoS attacks on the trumptowerny.com website, which soon fell to the pressure. It claims to have taken down thousands of Twitter accounts that support the group.
