Another charge sheet against IS suspects
The six suspected ISIS operatives chargesheeted by the National Investigation Agency yesterday were conspiring to carry out terrorist activities in capital and during the Ardh Kumbh in Haridwar, the probe agency has claimed.

The NIA filed the charge sheet against Armar, Rizwan Ahmed, Mohsin Ibrahim Sayyed and Ayaz Mohammed before a special court here under various sections of Indian Penal Code and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
They sought lessons on easy ways of crafting explosives using match sticks, alarm clocks, and fire crackers, it is claimed.
“Investigation confirmed that the accused persons were using different mobile numbers and they had contacted and interacted with their associates on web-based social media networks for objective of recruitment, preparation of IEDs, identifying places for training and hideout and finally committing terror strikes at various public places and vital installations in India”.
It claimed the IS cadres had received financial assistance through hawala transactions for the goal of organising meetings, meeting travel expenses, recruitment and training to carry out subversive activities in India.
NIA said Yusuf also took to social networking websites like Facebook, Trillian, WeChat, Whatsapp, Surespot, Telegram etc to radicalise young Muslim youths from Malwani area to join ISIS.
The agency in the charge sheet filed before District Judge Amar Nath also stated that they accused received Rs 2.5 lakhs through hawal channels to procure explosives and weapons.
In the charge-sheet, the agency mentioned that the suspects owed their allegiance to Islamic State/Islamic State and Levant (ISIL)/ Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), to further its activities in India by way of motivating Muslim youths, and ultimately train and prepare them to carry out terror activities in India.
The case was filed by the special cell of Delhi Police on January 18, 2016.
The agency also claimed that the accused, who are now in judicial custody, were using different internet channels/ services, telephone and one-on-one meetings to further outfit’s ideology.
Ayaz (24) had also tried to recruit youths into the terror group and discussed his plan to get into Afghanistan with them but one by one they backed out.
Rizwan Ahmed Nizamuddin, who was also a member of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), Jundul Khilafa al-Hind (JKH), Indian Mujahideen (IM) and Ansar-ut Tawheed (AuT), had made elaborate preparations and gone to Chennai to collect money for the jihad.A case was registered in December past year after four boys from Malwani went missing.
On October 5, 2015, Naser was apprehended at Sudan for concealing his identity and trying to join ISIS in Syria.

It has claimed that several incriminating documents and articles like laptop, mobile phones, pen drives and DVDs have been seized from the possession from the accused. On the directions of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the case was later transfered to NIA.
