“I’m glad she released her records, [because] we’re a much more informed country today than we were yesterday about the health of our candidates, which makes me feel good”, Dr. Oz said.
Dr. Oz ran Trump through the ordinary on-boarding process of having a new patient, which meant going through a full health review, including discussion of his family medical history, respiratory health, hormone levels, nervous system, bladder or prostate health, and history of cancer.
During a visit with MSNBC’s Morning Joe Thursday, the Missouri lawmaker ripped into the charades of transparency perpetuated by both Dr. Oz and Donald Trump.
In discussing his campaign positions, Trump told Oz that women should be able to obtain birth control without a prescription.
In a statement released Wednesday, campaign manager Robby Mook criticized Trump’s appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show”. Dr. Lisa Bardack, chair of internal medicine at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, New York, said Clinton was treated with a 10-day course of Levaquin, an antibiotic used to treat infections.
He said they shouldn’t have to.
“Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, who is setting records for number of events, size of crowds, and breadth of travel on the campaign trail, determined in light of increased scrutiny of candidates’ health, it was important to have a detailed physical examination for all the various standard tests attributable thereto”, the Trump campaign said in a news release.
“Dr. Oz was very, very impressed”, said Matthew Stevens, who also was in the audience.
This will Trump to talk to people that would not see him often and talking about his medical health will offer a sharp contrast to Hillary’s health.
Trump said that he remains opposed to abortion rights.
He said that, after listening to Clinton’s attacks, Trump had come to the conclusion that she was guilty of numerous charges she was lobbing. She said she’s “increasingly concerned” by what she called rival Donald Trump’s “alarming closeness with the Kremlin”.
Dr. Oz said he extended invitations to appear on his show to both Mr. Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, whose campaign put out more information on her health Wednesday in the wake of her recent bout with pneumonia.
Mr Trump had avoided referring to Mrs Clinton’s medical problems but on Wednesday night made a veiled attack on her health.
Clinton remained in her suburban NY home Wednesday as she continues to recover from pneumonia.
