A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has ordered 78-year-old Cosby, and his former attorney, Martin Singer, to give sworn testimony this month in a lawsuit brought by Janice Dickinson, onetime model and reality TV personality.

Cosby, 78, now faces allegations of defamation from 10 women in a total of four cases, including one in California, one in Pennsylvania, and a second case in MA filed earlier this week.
Thankfully, I am able to go to court and present my proof that I am telling the truth, Barbara Bowman, one of the women who joined the MA defamation suit on Friday, said in a telephone conference call held by her lawyer, Joseph Cammarata.
Dickinson alleges that Cosby drugged and raped her in Lake Tahoe in 1982.
The comedian allegedly told her he was impressed by her work and “implied that he was going to see to it that I will become a major star through his direction”. But during the course of the mentorship, Bowman claims she was the victim of multiple nonconsensual sexual encounters by Cosby, including walking up half-dressed and trying to rape her in a hotel room.
Four more women are joining a federal defamation lawsuit against Bill Cosby, The Associated Press reports.
Despite making their claims public, no criminal charges have ever been brought against Cosby.
Marshall Searcy III, who is listed as Cosby’s attorney in the suit by the seven women, declined to comment.
Mirror Celeb have contacted a rep for Bill Cosby for comment.
Tarshis, who alleges Cosby drugged and assaulted her in 1969 when she was 19 years old, agreed, adding that she’s been publicly ridiculed for coming forward. However, Cosby’s attorneys appealed the decision and the court is now seeking legal briefs by the end of the month before making a final ruling.

Cosby now has been named in six separate civil lawsuits. “This is their opportunity to have their day in court and to attempt to restore their good name and reputation”.
