Philando Castile was fatally shot during a traffic stop in St Paul, Minnesota, last week.
Castile’s death, which was streamed on Facebook live by his girlfriend Diamond Reynolds, came on the heels of Alton Sterling’s death, also at the hands of law enforcement in Baton Rouge just a day before. Castile’s white casket arrived and left on a horse-drawn carriage.
He said he’s thankful for police and their service, but that people need to find a way to work together.

Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, and Representatives Betty McCollum and Keith Ellison, sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, asking for a “full and thorough accounting of the facts”.
