Anthony Joshua looking to recharge his batteries after successful IBF title defence
Anthony Joshua is looking forward to some lengthy time off this summer after the Watford-born boxer successfully defended his IBF heavyweight title with a win over American fighter Dominic Breazeale on Saturday.

The 2012 Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist Joshua staggered Breazeale in round two, but Breazeale survived Joshua’s onslaught.
Anthony Joshua had to work harder than he expected against Dominic Breazeale on Saturday, but he finished the job early once again to retain his world heavyweight title. “I want to break him mentally”.
“The main thing is I really want to catch up with my family and spend some time at home”.
A devastating left-right combination, similar to those that stopped numerous Briton’s 16 previous opponents, sent Breazeale to the canvas so heavily it appeared the fight was over early in the seventh round.
Continuing his ideal knockout streak and undefeated record, Joshua is only 26 years old, with one of the world championship belts.
The 26-year-old said that the testers were determined not to let him out of their sight, and joined him at the restaurant, but didn’t order anything for themselves.
“I’m making waves in the U.S. now and one day I’m sure Deontay Wilder and I will get to experience what each other are all about”, Joshua said after defeating Breazeale. I had initially wanted Fury in the winter, but not now.
Anthony Joshua insists he is taking challenger Dominic Breazeale deadly serious despite widespread expectation in the United Kingdom that he will extend his 100 per cent knockout ratio. “And now I can get some rest and recharge my batteries and start afresh again”. Joshua mentioned the possibility of a future world title unification fight with Alabama’s Deontay Wilder, the WBC champion.
It looked as though it would just be a matter of time before the finish came but the 30-year-old showed heart and chin by repelling Joshua’s sustained attacks.
All will offer more of a threat than former National Football League quarterback Breazeale, who once again endured a miserable trip to London.
Joshua looked relaxed and, despite his height disadvantage, when the two men stripped down to ther shorts and took to the centre of the ring it was the Brit who looked bigger.

Joshua’s mandatory challenger is New Zealand’s Joseph Parker.
