Anthony, who performed the song, 2 Legit 2 Quit, appeared in awe of the devoted performance.

Spoiler alert: this is quite possibly the BEST lip sync battle in the history of Lip Sync Battle.
The actor’s foray into lip-syncing started two years ago when he went on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and did a lip sync battle with Stephen Merchant.
The two competitors had a close fight but JGL killed “Rhythm Nation” which makes him still the “King” of lip-syncing and will forever hold the title, “Joseph Jackson”.
However, the immediate announcement of the 34-year-old’s name led to Gordon-Levitt opening the door while holding a mistletoe that apparently signaled the actor’s intention to kiss Corden, according to E!
After that “Rhythm Nation” number, Spike might as well cancel “Lip Sync Battle”, because nobody will want to follow Joseph-Gordon Levitt.
To see if Anthony Mackie will be able to top Gordon-Levitt’s performance, watch the “Lip Sync Battle” holiday special Thursday, November 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SpikeTV. “That was a sexually charged performance”.

Our reaction was right in line with Mackie’s and the show’s host’s, LL Cool J. A British version of the show is reportedly in the works at U.K.’s Channel 5 network.
