Iconic singer Prince joins Instagram – and renames it Princestagram!

Prince, 57, has had a turbulent relationship with social media. Hilariously, he’s dubbed it his “PRINCETAGRAM” account.
We’ve compiled a few of our favorites posts below. His first upload was a lavender-tinted concert shot that featured the caption: “Purple Silhouette”.
A photo posted by PRINCESTAGRAM (@prince) on October 22, 2015 at 1:52pm PDT Prince’s new Instagram account came more than a month after releasing his new album ” HITNRUN (Phase One)” exclusively on Jay-Z’s Tidal.
In addition to live shots and publicity photos from all eras of Prince, popular memes concerning the Purple Rain star are also being collected, including one featuring Dave Chappelle’s legendary Prince impression. In just a few years, he’s gone from declaring the Internet “completely over” to becoming a prolific tweeter (albeit one who often deletes his own tweets). Not that anyone can blame him.
The most recent upload is a funk-scored video presenting a computer desktop filled with images.
