As early as last night, we had footage of the two men wearing anti-Lochte t-shirts and sitting quietly with their hands tied behind their backs.

Security detained the men after removing them from the stage, but the message sent by the disruption was clear.

Ryan Lochte of the United States attends a press conference in the Main Press Center on Day 7 of the Rio Olympics on August 12, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Lochte, who clearly was shaken by the incident, said he was emotionally a “little hurt”. “Me and Ryan have gotten the pleasure to know each other, and he’s an incredible guy”.

It’s a little hard to decipher at this point what exactly happened here, mostly because we’re relying on storied outlets like E!

In the clip, provided by “Good Morning America”, a security guard takes one of the male protestors to the ground before he can reach Lochte, who was dancing with partner Cheryl Burke.

“So many feelings are going through my head right now”, Lochte reportedly told Bergeron after the commercial break.

The two men, wearing anti-Lochte T-shirts, were arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing, Los Angeles police spokesman Liliana Preciado said.

Once the men were apprehended, the crowd went wild for Lochte, giving him a standing ovation and changing “Ryan!”

They had just performed a foxtrot routine to the song Call Me Irresponsible.

“I had to realize that I came out here in front of millions”. Lochte was suspended from the us swimming team for 10 months, the Post reports, and has become the poster boy for white male privilege.

In the aftermath, Lochte lost all four of his sponsors and was suspended from USA swimming competition for 10 months.

“This is my home and I was just so shocked that people would come here and be so negative”, Hough, 31, told PEOPLE after Monday’s premiere.

ABC did not immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment.
