Clinton’s press secretary Brian Fallon told MSNBC last Thursday that she won’t “go in there seeking to provoke Donald Trump”.

The debate, which is scheduled to begin at 9 pm ET, will be divided into six segments of about 15 minutes each.

A poll reveals 73 percent of registered voters say they are “very likely” or “somewhat likely” to watch the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton next week.

As for Trump’s personal debate strategy, he hasn’t talked about the specifics of his game plan, focusing more on how he will deal with facing one opponent head on. Everyone said I won, the polls all said I won.

Next week’s debate will be the first time Holt has moderated a presidential debate between the nominees of the two major parties.
