Anton Stephans blasts Nick Grimshaw
We were all left a little bit stunned during Saturday night’s X Factor when Nick Grimshaw said that Anton Stephans’ performance wasn’t “authentic” and an awkward argument ensued.

The aspiring singer criticised the decision, insisting: “This is why people hide mental illnesses and don’t get help, because it’s on their records and then something like this happens”.
Stephans, who was in Simon Cowell’s Overs category, is determined to be positive. It was the three other judges, Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, versus Simon, so the three-to-one judges’ votes were not enough to make Anton stay in the competition.

The X Factor reject was eliminated on Sunday night after finding himself in the bottom 2 with Che Chesterman, but not before he had a little war of words with the Radio 1 DJ following his performance. I think you have a solid great voice but it feels technical to me.
“It still feels like an act to me”, Nick added.
“This is real, there’s nothing fake about me”, Stephans replied. “I’m saving you because as much as I like you Che, I’ve become good friends with Anton now”.
After the show, Mason shared a picture of him and guest performer Ed Sheeran, calling the X singer a living legend.
“I wanted to come into the limelight but not the people who have loved, cared for and looked after me so I sought to protect them and look after them so being branded names that are not true was very hard”.
‘I just wasn’t feeling that, ‘ the 31-year-old judge said, bursting Anton’s bubble.
The fate of the contestants is now in the public’s hands as one more act will leave the competition this week.
Anton later went on a Twitter rant.
