Antonio Conte hails “fantastic” Cesc Fabregas
Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas remains part of Antonio Conte‘s plans this season, despite reports linking the Spain global with a January move to AC Milan.

Antonio Conte believes Oscar is crucial for Chelsea due to his defensive contribution, with the midfielder feeling in great shape.
But asked at a news conference if he would consider selling Fabregas in January, Conte replied: “No, no, no. Cesc is in my plans and in Chelsea’s plans”.
“We all know that Cesc is a great technical player, but I am also starting to know him as a man and he is fantastic”.
The Brazil worldwide was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge over the summer having struggled for form under Jose Mourinho before losing his place under Guus Hiddink last season.
“In my opinion, he’s improving a lot on many aspects, above all the defensive situations. If Cesc continues in this way, it’ll be very hard to choose my midfield”. I think Diego is growing also in this situation because, in the last game, he showed a great attitude, great behaviour, despite a situation that was very hard for him.
Eden Hazard says he is inspired “to give everything on the pitch” for his new manager Antonio Conte.
Fabregas’ only start of the season came in a 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers in an EFL Cup fixture last month, while he has only managed 32 minutes of action in three Premier League games combined in the present campaign. “So I’m confident in him”. “But I’m not anxious about this”, added Conte.
The 35-year-old limped away from the Liberty Stadium on crutches and subsequently missed the Blues’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge last Friday after being ruled out for 10 days.

Chelsea eventually re-signed David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain as the deadline loomed, with the Brazilian to make his second debut for the club against Liverpool in the absence of the injured John Terry. He will know his passing capabilities, but it’s for Cesc to put that spirited performance in, moving it about.
