Antonio Conte wants more from Chelsea’s revitalised winger Eden Hazard

Fabregas has not started any of Chelsea’s opening three Premier League games of the season, making just one substitute appearance, as former Italy coach Conte has begun life in England with three straight wins.

Newly promoted Burnley quickly fell behind at Stamford Bridge when Eden Hazard shot from outside the area in the ninth minute for his second goal in three matches, and Willian made it 2-0 in the 41st with a low shot after an assist from Diego Costa.

“With my staff we will continue to work in this period of rest, to watch the game, to watch the good things – many – and watch the bad things – a few – and try to continue to improve”. He wants to work very hard to improve himself and I am pleased about this’.

“We have to take away the fact this is a very good club with a deep level of quality”.

Hazard struggled for form as the Blues toiled under Mourinho last season but looks reinvigorated under new boss Antonio Conte.

“It’s important to start the new season in the right way”, said Conte, who dismissed any talk of going the whole season unbeaten. “I don’t want him to chase back”.

Of course, the idea of Chelsea getting back into UEFA Champions League was contingent on Eden Hazard reverting back to the form he had two years ago when Chelsea won it all.

“It s a pity that now there is this worldwide break”. But we have to stop, ” said Conte.

However, El Confidencial don’t go on to add any depth to the story in terms of why Conte isn’t keen on him and if the Italian tactician is indeed open to selling him ahead of the transfer deadline this week. “He’s a fantastic player, he’s working well and I like his attitude”.

“Eden Hazard is for many people one of the best players in the world, especially after a performance like this one”, Ivanovic told FourFourTwo.

Manager Sean Dyche is desperate for reinforcements, and already has Chelsea reserve striker Patrick Bamford in his sights, but admits finding the right players isn’t easy in the current market.

“It s tough”, he said.
