House Speaker Paul Ryan should coast to reelection here despite a scare from Republican businessman Paul Nehlen, a new poll shows.

Note, by the way, that he assures Sykes that there are things Trump could say or do that would lead him to un-endorse, but of course he won’t specify what they might be.
Asked whether he sees any constitutional issues with the mass deportation of Muslim-Americans, Nehlen was defiant: “If someone supports Sharia, that is doing something wrong”.

In December, Trump unveiled a plan to temporarily ban Muslims from immigrating to the United States.
“I like Paul, but these are frightful times for our country”. And I’m just not quite there yet. It’s interesting that he reached for that term instead of “nationalist”, which could also fairly describe Nehlen’s politics just as it accurately describes Trump’s.
