Apple posted an invite online that said “Let us loop you in” which hints towards a connection with Apple Watch that was launched a year ago.
The new iPhone SE will replace the iPhone 5s in the Apple lineup and will arrive at the same starting price of $450. The device is expected to have the same four stereo speakers that debuted on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, alongside the same A9X processor, which Apple claims delivers faster performance than 80 per cent of the portable PCs sold in 2015.
The new iPad Pro will be priced above current 10-inch iPad models and is likely to cost over €700 in Ireland.
Internal updates to the smaller phone could include an A9 processor (like what’s in the 6s), an 8- or 12-megapixel camera, an NFC chip for Apple Pay and hopefully a larger battery.
Apple could use a lift. It is also said that with regards to design, the iPhone SE has borrowed heavily from the iPhone 6, with a power button on the side, a feature which was introduced by Apple in the iPhone 6 for the first time owing to the length of the device. “Yes, we’re talking about the same 4″ screen as well, and that would make the new iPhone quite the rarity in a mobile world, where we’re hard pressed to find phones smaller than 4.7”. It now appears that Apple is indeed expected to release the iPhone SE on Monday, as a box has leaked, featuring the specs of the device.
There will not be a new Apple Watch.
It will come with up to 64GB of storage and more and have a 1,642 mAh battery. This small desktop has not seen an update since October 2014, and so not as out of date as the Mac Pro. The device is expected to have a starting price of $599 which is approximately Rs 40,000. 2nd and 3rd generation Apple TV users. however, need to have software 6.2 or the later downloaded on the system.
