Apple held their annual Press Event on Wednesday (September 7) in New York City, where they announced the iPhone 7. Tell us in this poll whether you’ll be picking up a new iPhone 7. During the event today, Apple indeed unveiled these wireless headphones and as you would have guessed, they are called AirPods. Sporting microphones, the new AirPods can also be used to make phone calls, and are charged through a battery in their case. They will cost $159 and be available in late October. You can place your iPhone 7 pre-order this week through Apple and through carriers. The iPhone 7 Plus meanwhile has a 5.5-inch display and dual 12MP rear cameras (one wide angle and one telephoto). It has two different cameras with two lenses, which allows users to take better zoomed photos. As predicted, Apple has removed the 3.5mm headphone jack, making the iPhone even slimmer, simpler and now (finally) water- and dust-resistant.

Stereo speakers are premiering on the iPhone 7, producing twice the volume as previous models. The iPhone 7 gets two more hours of battery life than the iPhone 6s, while the iPhone 7 Plus gets and an hour of extra life compared to its predecessor. If you want a waterproof phone because you keep spilling water in your backpack when your phone is in it, the new iPhone is for you.
Apple has also eliminated the lowest-tier storage option in the phones, so the storage options now include 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
CNET editor Scott Stein praised the tweaks to Apple Watch’s operating system, Watch OS3, which will be available starting September 13.
Apple explained during the show how it improved on the design of last year’s handset.
Kawasaki believes the second generation Apple Watch is what the first generation should have been. The Apple Watch 2 is available in the standard ALuminium and steel, and now ceramic.

Apple didn’t return MarketWatch’s request for comment about whether there would be a smaller price tag to purchase just one AirPod.
