Apple could be unveiling 4-inch iPhone 5SE (NOT 7C) in March
Apple’s 4-inch iPhone, now rumored to be called the iPhone 5se, has already stolen the spotlight at the highly anticipated March event, but the Apple Watch may get an upgrade of its own.

As the iPhone 5SE is apparently a take on the 2013 model-year iPhone 5S, Gurman noted that Apple will no longer the iPhone 5s.
Apple codenamed the device N69, and the “se” label stands for special edition, which clearly suggests it will be an improved version of the iPhone 5, with features borrowed from the iPhone 6 and 6s. In fact the same source also reports that new iPhone is coming March, while another report points out that Apple may announce a few Apple Watch upgrades at the same time as well.
The new 4-inch iPhone 5SE variant will boast most of the features of the iPhone 6 model, including the curved glass screen; the A8 processor; and the 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities previously predicted that the new 4-inch iPhone would come packed with an NFC chip to support Apple Pay. The iPhone 5se will be available in gold, silver, space grey and rose gold like the iPhone 6s. Apple does not have any plans of making another iPhone 6 but one under the iPhone 5S line. Other than that, the company will also launch the Apple Watch 2 with major improvements later in 2016. The new device is expected to cost the same as the 5s, meaning it will go at a list price of $450.
Apple Watch 2 won’t come in March as was being expected, but newer bands could be showcased. The company aims to provide users with a range of new band colour options, and may also feature new bands from Hermes, a French company that produces fashion-centric luxury accessories. The phone features the same buttons, but it is rumoured that the handset will not sport Apple’s latest 3D Force Touch technology used in the latest iPhone 6s lineup.

While Apple’s Spring event remains a bit shrouded in mystery, 9to5 is now pigeonholing it to the week of March 14.
