According to a recent disclosure on the Beats Music support webpage, Apple is phasing out the Beats Music service this month.

The technology giant, Apple said that it will shut down Beats Music, a division of Apple which produces audio products.
Beats Music stopped accepting subscribers in June, when Apple Music was released with iOS 8.4. As you might’ve guessed by its name, YouTube Music aims to make finding and listening to tunes on YouTube easier, sort of like how YouTube Gaming is all about watching video games.
Youtube Music is available in the Google Play store and the App Store. Beats Music subscribers would also be required to move from the old app to Apple Music to continue using the streaming service.
The decision to port Apple Music to Google’s platform would be more logical in a business standpoint.
Apple is not the only tech company experimenting with music streaming. Apple Music became available to Android phone users this week.
Beats Music is not long for this world.
Just a couple of days ago, Apple Music finally launched on Android too, in what was something of a first for Apple on mobile. In comparison, Spotify has 15 million paying members. With YouTube Music, you also get concert footage and live recordings, something you definitely won’t get in other music streaming apps.
