“I’m expecting a new 9.7-inch iPad that has pen access and has a lot of the innards that the iPad Pro has, including a super-charged processor, graphics and memory”, Moorhead said, referring to the ability to use a stylus-type pen.
This has already led to speculation that the event will see Apple announcing a new smaller iPhone with a 4in screen, a new iPad Pro and new bands for the Apple Watch, although as usual, the company provided no concrete details with its announcement.
Apple Watch – don’t expect a whole new watch – just expect perhaps a software update announcement, and some new colours and accessories. According to reports, this upcoming iPad Pro will be the same as the 12.9-inch variant, except for the camera.
The iPhone 5SE is rumored to be sold starting $450 for a 16GB version, which is the same price as iPhone 5S. Speculatively, the text could be alluding to the fact that the iPhone SE will have a hole through which a lanyard loop can be attached, similar to older versions of the iPod Touch. The upcoming smartphone will be called the iPhone SE, where the SE stands for Special Edition, and it will essentially replace the aging iPhone 5s.
Further, even if the Apple rumor mill is right about Apple planning to introduce these products, plans could always change at the last minute.
Previous year in March, Apple revealed the Apple Watch to the world.
The initial name of the said phone was expected to be iPhone 5se.
Apple will be live streaming the March 21 event, which kicks off at 11:30PM IST.
