Apple expected to unveil iPhone 7

On the wearables front, its new Apple Watch Series 2 will also feature Global Positioning System – allowing people to gather fitness data during an outdoor workout without need to take along a smartphone. But despite reports that Apple has been working on giving the watch its own cellular capability – meaning it wouldn’t need to be paired with an iPhone – analysts say that’s unlikely to come this year.

Water-proof: The new iPhones will have an additional quality of being water-resistant. Apple senior vice president Phil Schiller claimed the decision to remove the headphone jack stemmed from the “courage to move on”. This way Apple will make wireless earbuds fashionable and popular. The real announcement here, really, is a new wireless connection technology – the one contained in that W1 chip – that may help usher out the now-ubiquitous and ever-sensitive Bluetooth. Critics have already complained that their old headphones won’t fit in the charging port without an adapter.

For many people, listening to music and watching video – not to mention making the occasional phone call – constitutes one of the main uses for a smartphone.

Apple’s next iPhones will come without the analog headphone jack that’s been standard on iPhones and most other electronic devices for years.

As previously reported, the Apple Watch 2 is likely to run on watchOS 3, which is said to be seven times faster than watchOS 2. Later, he made waves by selling MacBooks without a CD drive or even a traditional hard drive. This setup is only available on the iPhone 7 Plus, not the smaller iPhone 7.

Apple sold almost 92 million iPhones during the first six months of this year, about 15 percent fewer than the same period last year. Sure there are a lot of jokes about how it looks similar to last year’s iPhone 6S, and there aren’t a lot of changes.
