Apple fends off Google’s advances into iOS
Log into your account on the Apple developer website. Or were you, just caught up with all of the WWDC excitement?

Apple CEO Tim Cook touted the update as a “monster” one, thanks to the fact that it sees Siri and Messages opened up to developers for the first time and also brings with it features such as 3D Touch functionality on the lock screen, deep learning, and – praise the lord – the ability to delete Apple’s stock apps. The developer preview is doing its job, giving us a sneak peek at most of the features that will appear with iOS 10 later this year, but it might have bugs, and is not as polished and optimized as your battery would like.
More than likely, Apple is still figuring out exactly how to implement Rich Notifications on the older devices.
The good news is, this can be done relatively simply.
Astonishingly, both iPad 2 and its original mini version are compatible with iOS 10, except for iPhone 4S, according to the list shown on the website of Apple.
Now, the iTunes application will start downgrading your mobile device to iOS 9.3.2.
So, the iOS 10 beta won’t be for everyone – and we wouldn’t recommend downloading it if you rely on your iPhone or iPad every day. At the same time, you will need to download iTunes on your computer from apple.com/itunes/. Now, we need to get into DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode.
First of all, you will need to download the IPSW file for the iOS 9.3.2. At this point, iTunes will begin to inform you that it has discovered your device to be in recovery mode.
iOS 10 will also work with Apple’s sixth-generation iPod Touch. Hold down the Shift key (Windows) or Option Key (Key) and click on the “Restore iPhone” button.
That’s quite a steep price to pay if you want to try out the early version of iOS 10. But Wait! Don’t forget to take back up your data before you install iOS 10 on any device.
