Apple Fixes Unexpected Wakeup Issue for iPad Pro Smart Keyboard
Pricing for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will reportedly be “closer in line” with the iPad Air models than the iPad Pro. Apparently, Apple is “preparing smaller versions” of the 0 Smart Keyboard for the smaller iPad Pro. Whether by coincidence or design, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is expected to be unveiled at the same March 15th event that will see Apple make official the 4-inch Apple iPhone 5se.

Instead, the company will show off a smaller iPad Pro during its upcoming March event, 9to5Mac reports. But a report that was published today says that the next 9.7-inch iPad will be merely another variation of the iPad Pro.
9to5Mac sources say the company plans to have two size options available for the premium range, with the new model joining the 12.9-inch device released late past year.
To compare, the image at the top of this post shows the 12.9-inch iPad Pro next to an iPad Air with a 9.7-inch screen.

Gurman claims the smaller iPad Pro will be “nearly identical” to the iPad Pro in terms of specs, including the powerful A9X processor that made the iPad Pro as powerful as a full-size laptop. There will even be a smaller keyboard accessory, Gurman said, noting quad-stereo surround sound speakers are also supposed to be part of the package.
