Apple is just one of the many device manufacturers that has seen a steady decline in tablet sales in recent years. Comparatively weak iPhone sales were offset by an uptick in the iPad’s growth; Cook said more people are purchasing those for work.
Our Services business grew 19 percent year-over-year and App Store revenue was the highest ever, as our installed base continued to grow and transacting customers hit an all-time record, said Luca Maestri, Apples CFO.
