Apple has officially announced the long-awaited iPhone 7 launch for 7 September with its latest media invite being rolled out on 29 August. Along with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple is likely to launch new Apple Watch too at the event.
The online analytical reports suggest that that Apple’s actually not going to offer that much of an overhaul to the new smartphones and may even look like the previous versions (iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus).
Yep, if you squint you can see the shape of the lights is the top of the Apple logo.
Speculation surrounding the iPhone 7 has reached boiling point as the traditional September deadline fast approaches for the brand – famous for updating its phone model like clockwork each year. Another item to keep an eye on will be if battery life has been improved or if it will remain largely in line with what we’ve seen from past iPhone models.
First of all, Apple could be hinting that there could be new color options for the iPhone 7. Instead, reports have said, the company is expected to use the space now occupied by the headphone jack for a second speaker.
In usual fashion, the company will be releasing a new device towards the end of the year (good strategy Apple!). The next iPhone is thought to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack, leaving customers with either the Lightning connector or Bluetooth technology for connecting audio devices like headphones. It is also expected that iPhone 7 launch will be accompanied by iPhone 7 Plus as well. The features are in rumors that a dual camera system for crisper, along with a more influential 3GB RAM Apple A10 chipset.
