Apple Inc. Adds A USB 3.0 Connector To iPad Pro

What this means is that if anything goes wrong you will have to get a new one as even Apple would have difficulty hacking its way into it. Now, Apple is giving users the iPad Pro which offers a somewhat compromised experience when hooked up with its $169 Smart Keyboard.

However, the 32 GB version of the iPad Pro will reportedly reach the address of people who have purchased, in about 4-5 days. On top of that, aside from a few additional multitasking features, the iPad Pro doesn’t do much more than the regular iPad at this moment in time.

Microsoft Surface Book was announced last month and has been generally positively reviewed.

Market research firm IDC categorizes these devices as “detachables”. Earlier reports had indicated that Apple would be releasing the tablet sometime in October or November but it has not been launched so far which give further credence to a launch happening next year. The iPad Pro is a large tablet created to claw back lost ground from Microsoft’s Surface Pro line of tablet. Can they overtake traditional laptop and desktop computers?

Here’s the kicker, while the iPad Pro comes with USB 3.0 capabilities, it still comes with a USB 2.0 cable. That makes it more expensive than the 11-inch MacBook Air ($899) if you include the accessories. To that end, we have bonus unboxings of the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard. Building on past comments related to the subject, Apple CEO Tim Cook doubled down, saying there’s no place for a hybrid iPad/MacBook in the marketplace.

Microsoft also optimized Office apps for another feature available through iOS 9: Slide Over.

Perhaps the best thing about the iPad Pro, besides the screen and speakers, is the battery life. The iPad Pro will be available for T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T subscribers later although the tablet is available on Apple’s online store and from Apple stores later this week.
