A speculated delayed launching date for MacBook Pro 2016 is on the verge of becoming possible according to The Bit Bag and iPhone 7 could be the culprit behind the buzz. iPhone 7 is set to be launched in September and due to the major preparations and series of redesigns done to the phone, MacBook Pro 2016 that was scheduled to be released in September was cancelled.

The MacBook Pro 2016 release date was pushed back and the move was deliberate on Apple’s part.

Apple has always been rumored to be working on the next generation of MacBook Pro laptops, featuring a new set of features and improved specs. (NASDAQ:AAPL) last refreshed it’s MacBook Pro but it is highly expected to launch an updated version by the fourth quarter of 2016. Apple hopes that the MacBook Pro overhaul will increase the company’s sales with notebooks as people prefer iPads instead. Meanwhile, the rumored inclusion of a new AMD graphics card could make the new MacBook Pro a powerhouse for graphically intensive tasks like 3D modeling and video editing.

MacRumors pours over the most consistent rumour about the laptop – that it will boast a thinner but more functional design thanks to the addition of an OLED touch bar.

Forbes said numerous USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 connectivity will be part of the MacBook Pro 2016 that makes for quick-charging features, superfast data transfer and wider expansion options like extra storage or multiple monitor support. Some of its most rumored specs include the use of the upcoming Intel Kaby Lake processor, more random access memory (RAM) and read-only memory (ROM), and even a display with stunning 4K Ultra HD resolution. The Touch ID feature is also expected to work as a power button to easily turn on the laptop – with an added layer of security.

Probably the most interesting rumor around the new MacBook Pro involves the inclusion of a new touch strip with adaptive function keys, located above the keyboard.
