Apple’s new iOS 10 software update has many users seeing black- as in a black, blank screen, due to glitches in the system.

According toTrend Micro security researchers, who analysed Haima, Haima operators trick users into installing apps from outside the official iOS app store by luring users via aggressive social media advertising and relying on the popularity of apps like Minecraft, Instagram and Terraria in achieving successful downloads. To turn off the feature, go the “Display and brightness” option in the Settings page, and click on the raise-to-wake switch. Locate the ipsw file you placed on the desktop and select it. Delete as you would any other app: Press and hold on the app icon until it begins to shake and hit the X to remove.
Having been first revealed at the tech giant’s developer conference in June, iOS 10 also sees more artificial intelligence implanted into the software, with the Photos app now better able to identify and show you photos in your library based on time, location, people and even the items in them.
